The 'Annie' is a 4.8m inflatable
Zodiac powerboat. It provides assistance to DSA Vancouver's Martin
16s for emergency rescues, on-water boat repairs, towing, and
assistance to solo sailors on the water. During regattas, The
Annie functions as a coach boat, allowing the instructors to provide
racing advice and tune boats between races.
The Annie is the first boat on
the water in the morning and the last one to come in at night.
Unless it is tied up on the Jericho pier, there is always an instructor
aboard to operate the Annie.
